Claire-Ellen Weinstein Graduate Student Award

At the CASP 2010 conference, the TxCRLA membership voted to create the Claire-Ellen Weinstein Graduate Student Award.  Applicants must be full-time Texas graduate students (9 credit hours) who are doing research in the field of developmental education or learning assistance. 

One individual per year may win the award. Individuals may only win the award once.

To apply, the applicant must provide the following:  1) name, address, phone number(s), email address, and academic affiliation (institution and position); 2) a one-page (500 word limit) description of his/her research; 3)  a letter from a supervisor or instructor who can verify the applicant’s full-time status and research.                                                             

All materials must be submitted to the TxCRLA President.  Deadline to be announced. 

The winner will receive $500 and one-year paid membership to TxCRLA.  The recipient will also be required to submit an article for the CASP Newsletter and will be encouraged to attend the CASP Conference.
